Ateneo de Davao JHS - Arrupe Office of Social Formation, formerly known as Community Engagement Program, is the social formation arm of Ateneo de Davao Univeristy Junior High School Unit.
It envisions a community engaged in vibrant community service with the hope that its students, parents, administrators, faculty, and alumni will excel further in the promotion of peace that does justice, in cultural sensitivity and social transformation.

AdDU-JHS proposes active and sustained participation in a community-oriented service program for the Ateneo de Davao Junior High School seniors. Since our young Ateneans have spent a lot of time and energy learning to become helping persons, the program becomes an opportunity to translate what they have learned into action. Their weekly tutoring program can become a concrete experience in which principles of Catholic social teachings and even economic theories can be put into practice and reflection upon.
Tulong-Dunong Program (TD)
The TD is the premier curriculum-based community engagement platform of the ADDU JHS for its grade 10 students. This provides opportunities to develop the student's commitment and grit by initiating weekly tutorial sessions with its partner Public Elementary Schools (PES).

ADDU JHS shall champion advocacy, social mobilization initiatives and foster food security to support partner institutions.

Madrasah is a community-based institution that provides quality education in the Arabic language and Islam. It also serves as an avenue for fostering peace and understanding between Muslims and Christians.
Talikala is an non-governmental organization run by women for women, which offers support, advice, training, and counselling to women and girls who have been forced into sex trade in Davao City, Philippines.

Parish Visits
With “Pakighimamat” as its excellent standard, the grade 8 students, through selected parishes and local community (for non-Catholics and non-Christians) will be able to utilize Urban Container Garden as an alternative space for communal discussions.
The grade 8 students will have a chance to visit parishes to discuss community issues such as poor waste management, non-sustainability, decreasing level of environmental awareness and sensitivity, community disengagement, problems of the youth, and basic problems at home and in faith in general.
